Will the sweep make a mess in my house?
No. Floors and the fireplace area are covered before any tool comes out, the vacuum runs the whole time we sweep, and the area is left the way we found it — or cleaner. That is step one of every visit, not an extra.
Is the inspection really free, or is there a catch?
It is free. A technician comes to your home, works through the 19-point check and gives you the price on the spot. If you decide not to go ahead, you pay nothing and you still have the photos and the report.
Will you try to sell me a repair I don’t need?
No. If something doesn’t need fixing, we say so, and if it can wait, we tell you that too. You see the photos of whatever we do recommend, so you are not taking our word for it.
Do you work Saturdays and Sundays?
Yes. We work every day, 7:00–22:00, weekends included — at the same price as a weekday.
How long does a sweep take?
It depends on the chimney’s condition and access. We give you a realistic window when we confirm the booking, and we stay until it is done properly.
What if you find something during the sweep?
We show you the photos, explain what it means, and give you a price for the repair. What happens next is your call — the sweep is still $200 either way.
Are you WETT-certified?
Yes. The work is carried out by a WETT-certified technician — the certification Canadian insurers and home inspectors ask about.
