How often should a chimney be maintained?
For most wood-burning chimneys, once a year — ideally before the season. After seeing yours we’ll recommend an honest schedule; sometimes that means less often.
What does a maintenance visit include?
A sweep and a check: flue, damper, cap, crown, flashing and moisture signs — with photos you can compare year over year.
When is the best time to book?
Late summer and early fall, before the first cold snap fills the calendar. Spring works too — problems found then are cheapest to fix.
