Chimney Liners In Toronto

The liner carries heat and smoke up and out, and protects the rest of the chimney from them. When it cracks or breaks up, it needs attention. We check it with a camera, show you what we find, and reline with stainless steel sized to your appliance when that is what it needs.

  • Camera check — of the existing liner
  • Stainless liner — sized to the appliance
  • Draft tested — before we call it done

Signs Of A Damaged Chimney Liner

Liner problems are hidden inside the chimney. These are the clues.

Tile Pieces In The Firebox

Pieces of clay liner falling down mean it is breaking up.

Poor Draft Or Smoke In The Room

A cracked or wrongly sized liner doesn’t draw properly.

A Home Inspection Flagged It

We’ll look, photograph it, and tell you what it actually needs.

A New Stove, Insert Or Furnace

A new appliance may need a liner sized to it.

Visible Cracks

Seen from the top of the chimney or in inspection photos.

Not sure which one you’re seeing? That is what the free inspection is for. Book it here or call (416) 505-6228.

Questions About Chimney Liners

Anything else — call (416) 505-6228.

What does a chimney liner actually do?

It carries heat and combustion gases safely up and out, protecting the surrounding masonry and your home’s structure. It needs to be intact.

How do I know my liner is failing?

Tile fragments in the firebox, poor draft, visible cracks, or a flagged home-sale inspection. The free inspection confirms the condition with photos.

Stainless steel or clay?

Stainless is what we install for relining: durable, correctly sized, and suitable for most appliances. We’ll explain the trade-offs for your setup.

Does liner size really matter?

Yes — an oversized or undersized liner drafts poorly. Sizing to the appliance is most of the job.

How much does a new liner cost?

It depends on the chimney’s height, the appliance and access, so we price it after the free inspection — at your home, before any work starts.
